Hybrid Remote ScheduleThis role has the option to be a blend of remote and onsite workif department and business needs allow and with approval from direct supervision. Our hybrid remote work schedule combines three (3) days on premises with up to two (2) days remote.
Key RolesThis position performs administrative services to support effective and efficient operations in the safety department.
Key Responsibilities- Maintains and reviews employee safety records (safety training, safety meeting attendance, safety observations, safety discussions).
- Maintains and reviews all Commercial Drivers
¿ Licensing documentation (CDL physicals, CDL renewal, CDL drug testing). - Assists with annual medical surveillance.
- Maintains and reviews Industrial Hygiene monitoring records.
- Monitors and enters safety data utilizing EKPC safety software.
- Creates monthly safety slides and updates.
- Assists with creating monthly safety meeting materials.
- Supports the Safety Team with events (e.g. Safety Week, Safety Leadership Training, etc.).
- Provides administrative and training support for the Safety Team.
- Prepares reports and status updates to be used by the Safety Team.
- Prepares and organizes pre-work materials for safety training programs.
- Compiles and summarizes safety training feedback.
- Assists safety team with employee boot and uniform allowance allocation issues.
- Assists with purchasing and distribution of safety supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Certifications / Licenses:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree and college courses related to safety or human resources preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute
Experience:
- Three (3) years of related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Provides excellent support to team and maintains a positive attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of personnel at all levels of the organization including external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Provides thorough and timely communication to leadership and team.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage time, and adhere to deadlines.

- Some travel may be required, with some overtime as needed.
- Must maintain valid driver
