The interns are responsible for improving their knowledge of administrative work. They should learn skills such as the company’s technology, time management, detail-orientation, and written and verbal communication. It is also part of their job to prepare and edit reports, emails, memos, and letters.

DescriptionThe primary function of this position is to provide administrative support to the Entertainment Division. An administrative intern supports the team in the planning of administrative projects and carries out data entry, analysis, and research. The intern will work under the supervision of professional employees and may be offered a full‑time position after the internship or may move on to further opportunities with experience in the field.
DutiesThe duties of an administrative intern revolve around administrative operations, assisting the team with promoting events across all social media platforms, customer service, and fruitful collaboration with other team members.
CandidatesCandidates for administrative internships typically have completed higher education in business management or a related field. Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain order in a dynamic environment are essential.
Essential Job Functions- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Create and manage the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google, Tik Tok, etc.) for online promotion of artists and performances
- Enhance operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment
- Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Attend product events (luaus)
- Correspond comfortably with customers, vendors, and upper management
- Attend all staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Skilled in computers, adapts quickly to new technology, and uses computers to improve productivity
- Good listening skills, builds strong relationships, is flexible/open‑minded, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback, and handles constructive criticism
- Keeps information organized and accessible, maintains a clean and functional workspace, works systematically and efficiently, and manages time well
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Forms
- Knowledge of setting up QR Codes for Google Docs and Forms
- Knowledge of building and managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google, Tik Tok, etc.)
- Experience working with MS Excel and building reports, including graphs
- Experience building and updating websites, including domain research and registration
- Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, listens to others and values opinions, helps the team leader meet goals, welcomes newcomers, and promotes a team atmosphere
- Promotes mutual respect, keeps the workplace clean and safe, and supports safety programs
- Ability to write simple correspondence and memos
- Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings
- Ability to read, write, and speak English

- Light work—exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, with the majority of time spent sitting

- Receiving detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound
- Visual acuity required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing numbers and figures and viewing a computer terminal
- No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions typical of office or administrative work
- Some remote work may be necessary
