You have a talent for all things administrative, and you’re looking for part-time work in an energetic, warm and inclusive place. We’re Mayfield United Church ( We worship in a historic building that exemplifies our community—a foundation of living faith laid almost 200 years ago! We’re looking for an Office Co-ordinator to join our staff starting August/September 2026.
Purpose of the Role- Provide leadership in the church office.
- Connect and work with staff, volunteers, members, and the community.
- Manage reception of phone, email, and onsite communication.
- Serve as a public-facing representative of the church.
- Support church life through preparation of weekly bulletins, printed Sunday Services, weekly newsletters, and additional life events (death, marriage, baptism).
- Coordinate bookings, manage online content including social media, church website, and electronic sign; maintain a calendar of all church events.
- Document and maintain record management for the church, including all Executive Meetings and Annual General Meeting; work with committees and staff on marketing, advertising, and promotion of events and fundraisers such as Annual Chicken BBQ.

This is a part-time permanent role working 13 hours a week to start. After a probationary period of 3 months hours may increase with the possibility of benefits. The position is a combination of onsite and remote work.
Experience Required- Past experience in a public-facing/customer service role.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office for document creation and data entry.
- Comfortable learning church-specific software.
- Familiarity with Christian Church community context.
- Experience working in an environment with multiple demands and deadlines.
- Criminal reference check successfully completed in the past 3 months.
Hiring salary range $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
