Responsibilities
Enter and verify data relating to the computer system; prepare and review reports and information from computer printouts; back up assigned computer disks as assigned. Calculate and verify a variety of numbers and statistics; correct and confirm new numbers; post new balances as needed. Research and verify a variety of information, including account status; maintain a variety of files and filing systems.
Assist in preparing and reviewing a variety of correspondence, reports and documents as assigned; complete various forms. Perform other duties as assigned.
No experience required. Previous clerical or data entry experience is desirable.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CITY EMPLOYEES: PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, THE APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINE AND/OR BLOOD TEST FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
