Client:

Our client, a fast-growing and dynamic distribution company, is seeking a motivated Administrative & Accounting Support Specialist who is eager to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility. This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative skills who wants to develop deeper experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting operations
.

You will work directly with and support a highly engaged VP of Finance
, gaining hands‑on exposure to the financial backbone of a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the VP Finance and broader operations team
  • Assist with AP processing
    , vendor management, invoice entry, and payment scheduling
  • Support AR activities
    , including cash application, customer follow-up, and maintaining accurate records
  • Help maintain organized financial files, documentation, and internal controls
  • Coordinate internal communications, scheduling, and general office support
  • Contribute to process improvements as the company continues to scale
  • Take on additional accounting tasks as skills develop—this role is designed for growth
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong administrative or office support experience; distribution or operations environment a plus
  • Interest in developing accounting skills—AP/AR exposure is helpful but not required
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing company
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset
  • Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; accounting software experience is a bonus
