Are you passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and delivering exceptional customer service? Modern Woodmen of America is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Sioux Falls, SD area. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to the regional office, managers, and financial representatives—helping keep daily operations running smoothly. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities- Support office operations related to organization and communication such as preparing documents, distributing incoming work, filing documents, scheduling meetings, greeting visitors, answering incoming communications, updating social media tools, and marketing to existing clients.
- Answer questions and determine appropriate referrals for members’ requests and sales leads.
- Assist with fraternal processes which include submitting requests, filing reports, and reconciling receipts.
- Act as home office liaison for required service items and education and training topics.
- Assist in the recruiting and onboarding process for financial representatives, which may include prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, recruiting candidates, and making career fair arrangements.
- Prepare and submit expense reports to the home office.
- Assist with staff accountability and performance measures.
- Associate degree in business, or related work experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in a variety of computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and related software.
- Must be comfortable using Zoom and other virtual communication platforms.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to a dynamic, changing work environment.
- Service‑oriented mindset.
- Pay: $19.00 hourly (rate may vary based on qualifications). Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment‑based sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
- Work Arrangements: full‑time on‑site position, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday–Friday.
