Overview

We are seeking a Data Entry Associate for our Order Department. The position is located in Dallas near the Garland area and requires on-site work.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Pay is $17.50 per hour.

THIS IS NOT A WORK FROM HOME POSITION!

Responsibilities
  • Enter customer and account data from source documents within small time limits.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort data prior to computer entry.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities, and check output.
  • Interact with customers or other departments by phone or email to fulfill orders or respond to inquiries regarding order entry.
  • Prioritize and organize work independently and with little supervision.
  • Answer inbound calls when needed and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Process a variety of documents, place orders, create purchase orders, produce shortage reports or reselections, and maintain complete and accurate records.
  • Ensure orders are completed and fulfilled on time to avoid delivery delays and communicate any delays and problems to appropriate parties.
  • Follow up daily on all information received with missing items and update accounts accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and Word.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
  • Good grammar and punctuation.
  • Excellent typing and data entry experience.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under time constraints.
  • Independent worker and quick learner.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Positive attitude and ability to get along well with others.
