Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized Telecom Project Coordinator to support our regional, district, or functional teams with project coordination and administrative tasks. This role involves managing correspondence, tracking project deliverables and deadlines, maintaining accurate data in tracking systems, and providing timely reports. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong communication skills, and can effectively support project teams in a fast‑paced telecom/wireless setting.
Locationand Travel
Location: Hybrid (Work from home Monday & Friday; In-office Tuesday through Thursday)
Travel: Up to 10-15% local travel (mileage reimbursed for approved business purposes)
Key Responsibilities- Update and maintain project status in tracking systems with complete accuracy, including third‑party management platforms.
- Create and distribute internal and external correspondence related to projects and programs.
- Assist with the administrative preparation and coordination of meetings and events.
- Communicate potential issues or risks to management proactively before they reach critical status.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate files and documentation for projects and programs.
- Provide ad hoc reports highlighting variances or issues as requested by management.
- Support purchase order preparation and contractor invoice processing.
- Manage office logistics such as supplies and meeting support.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years in a telecom or wireless environment with project coordination and/or administrative support experience.
- Data review and reporting experience preferred.
- Permitting/licensing experience a plus.
Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
- Experience with Agile and Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi‑task effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to quickly learn new tracking and software systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Hybrid work schedule:
Remote on Mondays and Fridays; in‑office Tuesday through Thursday.
Occasional local travel up to 10-15%, with mileage reimbursement for approved business activities.
