Job DescriptionThe Project Document Control Administrator assists the project team with the organization and processing of company and owner documents for the Long Bridge construction project. The role supports project completion and ensures documentation meets deadlines.
Essential Functions- Organize and process a variety of documents for a large design-build project, including designer documents, design changes, transmittals, submittals, RFIs, and manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Manage Kahua document control system and maintain version control of design drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate documents with owners, contractors, home office support, and field personnel.
- Provide training and assistance to field supervisors and office staff in document flow and procedures.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor or group direction.
- 4‑year degree or 5 years office management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic document management systems such as Kahua, Procure, or Aconex.
- Experience with additional software and prior work in a construction environment is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail‑oriented.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel occasionally.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Continuous standing and walking required.
- Must perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
- Must work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot, and humid weather.
- Acceptable corrected vision and hearing required.
