Job Overview
Lead Recruiting Coordinator in the New Jersey Judiciary Office of Management and Administrative Services, Human Resources Division. Responsible for front‑office recruitment support, workflow regulation, process compliance, staff training, interview coordination, fingerprinting, and project assistance. Works closely with the unit supervisor and teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and customer service.
SalarySchedule A: $50,776.88 to $80,037.83
Schedule B: $50,776.88 to $76,035.93
This hybrid position allows up to two days of remote work outside Judiciary buildings. Remote work requires installation of a multi‑factor authentication app and adequate high‑speed home internet.
Responsibilities- Lead Placement Unit front‑office support staff, guiding daily recruitment procedures.
- Regulate workflow and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on Projects and Support Unit processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide training to support staff, maintain process documents, coordinate onboarding checklists, and compile recruitment data for reporting.
- Schedule and confirm interviews and skills tests; prepare interview packages; escort interviewees and deliver professional customer service.
- Conduct fingerprinting.
- Contribute to projects as needed.
At least three years of clerical and support services experience, including keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing; handling payments for fees; recording monies received; reconciling balances or accounts; scheduling meetings or appointments. No minimum keyboard speed required.
Requirements- Physical ability to climb, stand, bend, reach, lift 30–50 lb frequently, and occasionally lift up to 75 lb.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license is required only if vehicle operation is necessary.
- Authorized to work in the United States under Department of Homeland Security regulations; U.S. citizenship not required.
- Newly hired employees must agree to a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting, with confidentiality maintained.
- New employees hired within one year of employment must establish and maintain a principal residence in New Jersey; exemptions may be requested on hardship or critical‑need basis.
