Position Overview

Legal Support Specialist – Phoenix, AZ (in‑office)

This role supports Arizona court operations, ensuring court filings are received, processed, and accurately uploaded into our proprietary system. The position requires frequent professional communication with court personnel and internal teams, strong attention to detail, and effective management of legal documents.

Responsibilities
  • Contact Arizona courts for individual orders and status updates, resolving issues related to legal filings and retrievals.
  • Prepare court paperwork, ensuring proper court fees are included for document retrieval and submissions.
  • Process, review, and organize retrieved copies from court, ensuring accurate data entry into internal systems.
  • Navigate and interpret Arizona court dockets and websites to locate case documents and filing information.
  • Communicate accurately via phone, e‑mail, and Microsoft Teams with court personnel, runners, and attorneys.
  • Utilize the Skye application to track document progress, add detailed case notes, and maintain high accuracy.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing calls related to document statuses and relay updates to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the court document lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required (legal experience preferred).
  • Prefer 1+ year(s) of customer support, call‑center, or retail experience in a service‑oriented position.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Tech‑savvy: comfortable using Teams, Zoom, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and online fax; experience editing PDFs.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to perform repetitive data‑entry tasks accurately.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Quick learner, willing to grow within the legal support field.

Compensation and Employment

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Type: Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (in‑office, Camrockback Mountain area, Phoenix)
