While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of any Fed Ex Freight location listed in the posting.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Perform administrative functions in support of a Manager/Sr. Manager and/or a functional department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform administrative duties, which may include maintaining files, assembling materials for reports and drafting correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendar for management, and coordinate arrangements for staff meetings, business travel, seminars, etc. Maintain suspense files for management and staff.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail; take and screen phone calls.
  • Interact with internal and external customers; refer inquiries to appropriate level as required.
  • Maintain personnel recordkeeping as required.
  • Process, coordinate and follow up on invoices received for payment and expense reports.
  • Track and monitor projects from request stage through completion.
  • Provide assistance in gathering and researching data for reports and preparing presentations.
  • Maintain adequate level of required office supplies.
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) plus two (2) years of business related experience, which includes one year in an administrative support position.
  • Good typing/data entry skills.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with good spelling, punctuation and basic grammar skills.
  • PC experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software.
  • Able to follow instructions and complete required training.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

PAY

Hourly: $21.60 - $29.06
