This position may allow hybrid work for a portion of the work schedule up to 90% depending on the employee’s preference and needs of the work unit. Any hybrid work flexibility that may be available will be discussed in more detail in the interview process.
For positions that do allow hybrid work flexibility, employees may need to report to a DCF office location on short notice. There is no mileage reimbursement when traveling to the headquarter location. Our DCF locations are in the following cities:
Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Eau Claire, and Rhinelander.
Employees need to report to the 201 W. Washington Ave. Madison, WI office or the 635 N 26 St. Milwaukee, WI office on their first day for onboarding and orientation.
High speed internet access is required to meet the needs of remote work.

Position SummaryAdministrative Services Supervisor provides supervision of professional, paraprofessional and administrative/technical staff, improvement and coordination of division/bureau administrative functions within the Division of Safety and Permanence. The Supervisor has responsibility for improvement and coordination of division/bureau administrative functions, the program’s work planning, fiscal and administrative services and implementing administrative and/or programmatic functions.
This position coordinates responsibilities of the Unit in a manner that assures role clarity and completion of key division and bureau responsibilities, requirements, and tasks. This position ensures consistent office operations throughout DSP and focuses on continuous improvement of key operation/ administrative tasks. The position will function in a supervisory capacity to establish, develop and maintain the support necessary to the DSP bureaus and sections, requiring coordination and communication with Division Directors, Section Managers, DSP staff, contracted partners and the public.
Functions of the position include oversight of the DCF contracts with local agencies, coordination with other state and local agencies to ensure effective delivery of services and cross program collaboration within DCF’s service areas. This position requires writing and critical thinking skills, process management, organizational skills, program knowledge, and management strategy knowledge.

Salary InformationThe classification title for this position is DCF Program Supervisor. The starting salary is between $36.72 and $42.84 per hour ($76,378 and $89,108 annually), depending on qualifications. Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of the appointment.
Pay for current state employees who are transferring will be determined based upon the pay on transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment.
The pay schedule/range is 81-03. A one-year probationary period/ may be required.
