Joining the American Red Cross offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a global humanitarian mission. Candidates will work as part of a dedicated team, providing essential support to Bio Med customers across multiple channels.
Responsibilities- Support all Bio Med customers through multiple channels, including database maintenance, direct mail, email, Facebook, health history support, modifications/data entry, mobile app support, phone calls, scheduling appointments, text, and web support.
- Receive customer communications nationwide and resolve customer issues directly or with team members to ensure satisfaction.
- Exercise confidentiality, independent discretion, and judgment.
- Prepare reports as requested.
- Generate lists, schedule appointments, request donor cards, and perform other activities required to support customers.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute responses to customer requests, providing excellence in customer service during every touchpoint.
- Perform operational and administrative duties using one or multiple systems with little supervision.
- Accountable for daily and weekly productivity.
- Maintain attendance and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in monthly reviews and maintain a professional work environment.
- This is a work-from-home position.
Hours for this position are 11:45 am to 8:15 pm Central Standard Time, Sunday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Saturday.
Training hours will be 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Central Standard Time, Monday‑Friday for approximately three months. It is imperative that you are present during all necessary training.
Qualifications- High school diploma, specialized business, or secretarial/administrative training required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of related customer service work experience.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including word processing, Excel, databases, web tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CRM or marketing organizations preferred.
PAY INFORMATION:
The salary range for this position is $18/hr – $19/hr.
