The Spirit of the Position
The Administrative Receptionist oversees the management of administrative functions for the Home Office. As a company devoted to promoting an employee‑focused servant leadership culture, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will create a welcoming atmosphere for employees, customers and clients by providing excellent service, answering inbound calls, and helping resolve inquiries and concerns in a positive manner.
PrincipalJob Duties
- Ensure that the Front Desk is attended and answer incoming calls during Home Office operating hours.
- Process and distribute mail on a daily basis.
- Order office supplies for the department, adhering to budgets while ensuring the office is stocked with necessary items.
- Manage and maintain conference room schedules.
- Coordinate the repair and service of all phones, internet, and office equipment in the Home Office.
- Maintain office supply inventories and process orders as needed.
- Schedule meetings for management staff as needed.
- Receive, distribute, and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence and files.
- Manage and maintain the conference room schedule.
- Manage other related duties and projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in an administrative and/or customer service capacity preferred.
- Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office application skills.
- Recruitment skills and knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System preferred.
- Professional and effective communication with all levels of the organization.
- Team-building and management skills.
- Excellent phone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English.
- Openness to feedback, differing opinions, and diverse viewpoints.
