Serve as the on-site lead for AAUM's Eat & Greet orientation breakfast for new students through August 8th. The time commitment is from 7:00 am to 12 noon, Tuesday-Friday, in addition to select Saturdays (July 11th and August 1st). The event takes place at the Alumni Center.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the opening of the Alumni Center the morning of each event.
- Serve as the main on-site point of contact for student workers working each event day, along with vendors supporting the event.
- Responsible for leading the set-up and breakdown of each day's event; and remaining on-site for the duration of the event. Working with AAUM's facilities team to ensure the space is returned to a clean and working order or set-up for the next scheduled event.
- Manage event inventory and place orders as instructed for the run of this event.
- A high school diploma and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage several priorities.
- Ability to utilize Google Suite, including mail, sheets, docs, slides, chat, etc.
- Team player and a strong attitude for collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with leaders and colleagues in a multicultural and diverse environment.
