Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance.
All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
Progressive levels of associate, fully qualified and senior classifications within the Planner position. Overall duties are similar; however, progression based on the complexity of assignments and supervision provided, along with qualifications as indicated under Job Specifications, below. Exercises judgment and discretion in the completion of complex tasks associated with the development, planning, scheduling, and coordination of work packages; integrates multiple work order inputs into short and long-term plans, project schedules and maintenance schedules for assigned department.
EssentialFunctions
- Assists with planning and scheduling daily work assignments for the Construction, Maintenance departments.
- Ensures work is scheduled appropriately to meet both customer and compliance deadlines.
- Ensures that work-plans and schedules facilitate timely and cost-effective completion of all capital workload including new business, compliance and mandated work, system reliability, and maintenance and construction.
- Works collaboratively across the organization to achieve company's strategies and goals;
- Builds and maintains daily and weekly work schedules for Construction, Maintenance and crews and personnel;
- Ensures that area resources are available to meet work demands; responsible for scheduling all work in the order of priority that will ensure compliance deadlines and customer needs are fully met;
- Responsible for scheduling daily work assignments in a manner that optimizes crew productivity and minimizes overtime expenditures;
- Assists with organizing and facilitating weekly planning meetings with Operating department personnel; weekly communication of the work plan to Operating department personnel;
- Daily monitoring of actual work completed compared to the work plan;
- Prepares the weekly/annual construction schedule utilizing scheduling software such as Primavera;
- Assists with district liaison activities with local and municipal officials;
- Resolves customer issues and concerns as required. May require spending time driving to different geographic locations.
- Monitors current and future workload to ensure district plans and schedules maximize productivity and meet compliance.
- Prepares weekly and monthly workload status report for management and sends out schedules daily for work being performed by both contractor and Company crews.
- Provide customer service communication, scheduling and follow up.
- Confirm that all necessary prerequisites to schedule a job are complete and valid.
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Knowledge of database systems and reporting tools.
