Program Overview: The Apprenticeship Program at FCCI is designed for recent high school graduates from local Sarasota and Manatee schools, providing them with an opportunity to begin their professional careers while pursuing an Associate Degree from the State College of Florida. The apprenticeship spans over two years, during which apprentices will receive competitive compensation and a flexible schedule to accommodate their class schedule.
During the program, apprentices will work 20-25 hours per week at our Sarasota home office while maintaining school full time. This program will begin in late summer 2026.
Apprentices will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different roles and departments, which will broaden their knowledge and skillset.
Program Highlights- Enroll in an approved associate degree program at the State College of Florida
- Tuition, books and fees are paid at 100% by FCCI
- Earn a competitive hourly rate, and receive milestone increases as you progress
- Receive on the job training and personalized trainee program to begin a professional career
- Receive a full time job upon completion of program and degree
- Manatee or Sarasota County high school senior graduating in May of 2026
- Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgement and decision-making.
