Associate Financial Representative (Las Vegas)

As the organization continues to be one of the fastest growing offices within the enterprise, we are seeking a motivated Associate Financial Representative to join the team. The Associate will support the Financial Advisor and specialize in client services and processing of insurance products. This role includes coordinating aspects of the insurance underwriting process, serving as a liaison between the financial advisor, external case contacts, underwriters, clients, and policy owner services to ensure timely communication, accurate documentation, and efficient case progression.
The Associate maintains an efficient, organized, and compliant office and serves as liaison between the home office, financial advisor, and clients. The ideal candidate will have superb organization, exceptional attention to detail, and high ownership of responsibilities. - Assist Advisor by managing and overseeing the flow of business throughout the sale cycle
- Review insurance applications, conversions, and policy changes for completeness and accuracy
- Manage the medical examination process and expedite outstanding underwriting requirements
- Monitor Daily Status Report; expedite any additional underwriting requirements
- Prepare/print letters of instruction for client signature; prepare policies for delivery
- Run insurance illustrations and in-force ledgers
- Enter and maintain client and policy data in CRM; documenting case notes, and proactively follow upon pipeline of pending new business
- Contact clients and process service requests: late payments, address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries
- Perform clerical/administrative activities i.e. filing documentation to case files, photocopying documents, reports, and tracking
- Calendar management, confirming and scheduling client meetings
- Additional projects, as requested by Financial Advisor
- 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proficient knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- High sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Highly developed degree of personal organization and ability to multi-task
- Nevada Life and Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to acquire
