Job Title
The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning seeks an experienced individual to provide administrative and project management support to the Architecture Program.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include providing a full range of administrative support for the chair and program, acting as a resource to the chair and assisting with strategic initiatives for the program, organizing program meetings and events, attending faculty meetings, managing the calendar, independently coordinating with college staff, preparing written communications on behalf of the chair, managing travel arrangements, creating and maintaining record-keeping and budget tracking systems, facilitating course material purchases, handling PCard reconciliation and expense reports, creating architecture program posters and other graphic materials.
Required QualificationsRequired qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in higher education, 5+ years of progressively responsible administrative and project management experience, and advanced technology skills including Google suite.
Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence.
On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $63,000. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position.
