Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Coordinator to support the CEO for the Eastern New York Region.
Position is hybrid: 3‑4 days per week in the office and the remaining days working from home.
What You Need To KnowThe Executive Coordinator provides complex administrative support to a department, group or program. Responsibilities include preparing reports and various correspondences, administering projects and programs, analyzing unit operating practices, and serving as an administrative liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of complex administrative duties with little supervision and exercise confidentiality; prepare and maintain memos, records, reports, data, and correspondence for management review.
- Review correspondence for consistency with corporate policies and practices; develop high‑level presentations and/or spreadsheet reports and run specialized queries from department databases.
- Initiate, prepare, and edit written materials, correspondence, and reports using various software and database management applications.
- Compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, and presentations to support functional areas or business unit projects.
- Administer specific projects involving operational issues, compile results and findings for management review, and participate as a department representative on cross‑functional project teams.
- May provide functional supervision to clerical/administrative staff assigned to the unit.
- Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
- Education:
High School or equivalent required. - Experience:
Minimum 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. - Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and typing; knowledge of organizational policies and procedures is preferred; ability to prepare and edit complex documents; teamwork skills. - Travel:
None or very little.
The salary range for this position is (New York): $25 – $27 per hour.
Physical RequirementsRegularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; talk or hear; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds. Work environment consists of moderate noise in an office setting.
