the salary range for this position is $47,483.56 to $71,916.05 for schedule a, and $47,483.56 to $64,381.02 for schedule b. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to august 21, 2014, are considered schedule a. Newly hired individuals, and judiciary employees hired on or after august 21, 2014, are considered schedule b.
the judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth. The judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
exampleof duties
we are looking for organized, customer-focused individuals to join our probation division. You'll work closely with other clerical support staff to help us achieve our goals, which may sometimes require working late nights to meet clients and customers when they are available.
what you'll do:
- work as a team: collaborate with other clerical staff to make sure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Teamwork is essential to meet the division's goals.
- data entry: enter case information quickly and accurately into our computer systems.
- customer service: greet clients and customers with compassion and professionalism. Explain court policies and procedures in a way that's easy to understand.
- case management: help keep track of case progress. Update files, prepare notices for trials, and make sure all documents are recorded properly.
- courtroom support: assist in the courtroom by operating recording equipment, swearing in witnesses, and helping with other tasks as needed.
- communication: provide case updates as required, review case status with judges, supervisors, or managers, and keep everyone informed.
- training: help orient new team members to their tasks and responsibilities.
- flexibility: be ready to work late nights or adjust your schedule to meet clients and customers when they are available.
- physical presence: you must be able to reliably come to work in person as this is an essential part of the job.

qualificationsexternal applicants: one year of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.
ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed.
