Position Summary The Administrative Assistant supports a federal client program focused on military and family readiness services. This onsite role delivers critical data entry, course scheduling, and front-desk customer service for a Transition Assistance Program, helping separating and retiring service members successfully transition to civilian life.
Key Responsibilities Executive data entry, track course completion metrics, and manage scheduling for all separating/retiring service members.
Serve as the professional face of the front desk, welcoming a diverse clientele and managing public inquiries.
Technical setup and management of virtual classroom environments utilizing Microsoft Teams.
Produce error-free professional correspondence, spreadsheets, and calendar schedules.
Maintain the capability to perform mission-essential duties remotely during base closures, severe weather, or elevated Health Protection Conditions (HPCON).Work Environment Office-based with potential for hybrid/remote flexibility (depending on company policy).May require occasional extended hours as needed

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Minimum of 6 months in administrative, scheduling, or data entry roles (military or federal environment preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual classroom setup via Microsoft Teams.
Strong oral and written skills with strict adherence to accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Possess excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
Personnel must maintain cognizance of military hierarchy and protocol, including military customs and courtesies.
Basic knowledge of military family support programming, Department of the Air Force (DAF) terminology, and customs/courtesies.
Must successfully pass and maintain a favorable federal background investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for base and network access.
