Join us as a Student Assistant at UAF Community and Technical College, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our college’s operations and enriching the student experience. Your support will be vital in delivering high-quality educational services and improving program functionality. This position will significantly contribute to the operational success of the college and enhance the overall student experience as this position will directly impact the delivery of high-quality educational services and improve the functionality of our programs, benefiting the entire UAF community. Success in this position requires a blend of meticulous organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality are crucial for effectively supporting the college community and ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proficiency in computer systems for data management, and a proactive attitude in dealing with assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Depending on the area supported, may require previous training and experience (e.g., one year). Some college or comparable experience may be necessary.

This part-time position is available to current UA students enrolled in at least 6 credits with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Previous experience or related coursework is preferred but not mandatory. Successful candidates will contribute to the efficient operation of office functions and enhance the overall student experience.

Position Details

This recruitment is for a part-time, non-exempt, student position and is open to undergraduate students only. Starting wage is $15.26/hour.

This position works onsite within UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. Hours are flexible, and hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations.
