Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, the position performs clerical work for the Online Education and Individual Studies (OEIS) unit and Self‑Paced Online Courses (SPOC).
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the HRS liaison for the College of Graduate, Research and Online Education (GROE).
- Processing HRS forms and Period Activity Pay (PAP) for GROE.
- Creating and maintaining the temporary faculty sheet for OEIS.
- Completing adjunct appointment forms to generate offer letters.
- Serving as an enrollment contact for SPOC, monitoring enrollments and completions, and responding to SPOC questions regarding rules, regulations and procedures.
- Processing SPOC enrollments and exams, gathering data on student withdrawals, and overseeing approvals for external proctors.
- Preparing and complying data to inform operational decisions and procedures.
- Providing direct support for the Associate Director, collecting, verifying, and analyzing data for specialized reports, and supporting financial transactions and account reconciliation.
- Maintaining scholarship information and submitting financial aid rosters.
- Scheduling distance education courses via the SIS, creating routine and non‑routine correspondence, assisting with specialized projects, and performing other duties as assigned.
Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post‑high‑school clerical training that is equivalent to four years of full‑time employment.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree and strong attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks; strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective teamwork and customer‑service skills; ability to keep accurate records; excellent computer skills; knowledge of business and financial processes.
