Excel experience in a must! 4+ years

The main function of a Data Entry Clerk is to operate data entry devices such as keyboards and computers to verify and input data accurately. The role requires maintaining documentation, managing tasks independently, reviewing source documents, and ensuring data integrity.

• Reading source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, and bills and entering data into specified systems.
• Compiling, sorting, and verifying data accuracy prior to entry.
• Locating and correcting data entry errors or escalating them to supervisors.
• Comparing entered data against source documents to verify accuracy.
• Maintaining logs of completed work and activities.
• Managing documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.60/hr.
