Administrative Coordinator – Jazz Studies Program

The Audio and Administrative Coordinator supports the Jazz Studies program with a combination of event support and administrative tasks, with opportunities to assist with audio engineering for live performance and post-production editing. This position is ideal for someone with a background in arts administration who thrives in both live performance production and behind-the-scenes roles. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility with some remote work possible depending on scheduling and event needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with scheduling, hospitality, and stage setup for concerts and masterclasses
• Support the Green Country Jazz Festival and other major jazz events
• Manage paperwork and payment processing for guest artists
• Assist with communications and scheduling for jazz program events
• Follow up on logistics and communications to ensure event success
• Assist with music library duties, including copying and taping music
• Help with setup and equipment needs for rehearsals and performances
• Oversee logistical planning and execution of jazz ensemble tours

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience with music event coordination preferred
• Knowledge of jazz or a background in music is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with audio engineering for live performance and post-production
