Role Description The Mission Support Admin is a part-time, hybrid role based in Arabi, LA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role supports daily operations by performing administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and maintaining organized records of clients and services. The Mission Support Admin assists with client intake, responds to inquiries, and provides supportive customer service to community members seeking food assistance.

The role may include assisting with volunteer activities and preparing reports to support program oversight. This role reports directly to the CEO/Director for the Community Center.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, volunteers, and team members.
  • Analytical Skills to track data, identify trends, and support reporting and program evaluation.
  • Administrative Assistance skills to manage records, schedules, documentation, and general office tasks.
  • Customer Service skills to provide respectful, patient, and solutions-oriented support to community members.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Prior experience in nonprofit, community service, or social services settings is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, social services, or a related field is a plus.
