SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $52,182.11 to $73,769.99 for Schedule A, and $52,182.11 to $66,122.42 for Schedule

B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule

A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Example of Duties

The Hudson Vicinage is seeking a highly motivated, individual with excellent writing, interpersonal, communication, organizational and administrative skills. The candidate must have the ability to provide outstanding customer service and be attentive to details as the primary administrative support to the Family Division Manager. Under the direction of the Family Division Manager, this individual will perform duties as follows:
Coordinate arrangements for speaking engagements, seminars, travel arrangements or other group activities on the Division Manager's master calendar; assist in the orientation of new staff, including coordinating appropriate training as advised by the Division and Assistant Division Manager; reviewing content of correspondence, memos or reports for completeness, clarity or accuracy including drafting meeting minutes, reviewing legal documents, and updating records and/or case related information as needed.

The successful candidate will also obtain pertinent materials from files of the Division and other sources and arrange into usable form for executive officer. Additionally, the selected candidate must maintain record keeping and/or tracking systems updated; recommend purchase of equipment, materials or supplies for the Division as needed; reconcile all purchase requisitions; maintain records for the Family Division staff such as performance advisories and career progressions for submission to Human Resources;

and answer application of internal regulations or procedures. Not limited to submitting work orders as needed, maintaining daily attendance and training compliance for the Family Division, including judges' chambers, creating special projects as assigned and able to communicate policies and rules to staff as the Division Manager's direct support person. Knowledge of Word, Access and Excel would be helpful.
