Corporate Executive Administrator
Are you a highly organized, proactive professional ready to support top-tier leadership? We're seeking a dynamic Corporate Executive Administrator to serve as a critical right hand to executive management, ensuring seamless operations, strategic coordination, and top-level communication. This temp-to-hire role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the President/CEO and enhance organizational efficiency in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, preparing meeting materials, supporting board meetings, coordinating long-range planning, supervising administrative staff, and ensuring effective communication across multiple teams.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining the utmost confidentiality.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited institution OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting corporate-level executives in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting Executive Board meetings, including preparing meeting materials, coordinating logistics, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Ability and flexibility to attend and support occasional after-hours board and executive meetings.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field, OR a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience supporting corporate executives.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a working knowledge of other Office programs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and forward-thinking attitude.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and travel locally as needed.
Nice to Have
Skills:
- Experience supporting executive board meetings, including minute-taking and material preparation.
- Background in non-profit organizations.
- Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with board portal management and secure document handling.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- At least three years of experience supporting senior corporate leadership in a busy office setting.
- Prior experience with board governance and executive support functions.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite at Chagrin Falls location or at Cleveland for training, with flexibility for remote work during certain periods.
- Availability for occasional after-hours meetings.
- Must be able to lift to 20 lbs., stand or sit for extended periods, and perform general office tasks.
- Valid background check and drug screening required.
