The role utilizes and maintains the facility’s CMMS to schedule and monitor maintenance work, and trace and document company assets.
Key Responsibilities- Enter maintenance data into CMMS such as time and work accomplished.
- Enter data into relevant reports.
- Update maintenance reports and communicate information to relevant parties.
- Provide administrative support for maintaining and printing schedules and timesheets for team members, ensuring all information is readily available at the start of their shift.
- Maintain, generate, and print reports on preventative maintenance (PM) for team members’ utilization.
- Update weekend maintenance report (Weekend List), create work orders, and communicate this information to management.
- Update maintenance reports on employee time and overtime, PM / Non‑routine work and project completion, and company downtime and utility usage, providing this information to leadership.
- Assist and collaborate with department supervisors to schedule work and create new PM procedures.
- Generate basic reports for team members and leadership, including reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
- Firm knowledge of terms and equipment used in the industry.
- Experience in data collection with the ability to use spreadsheet and other data collection software.
- Solid understanding of CMMS / an Access‑based program.
- Ability to utilize a computer to communicate, collect and sort data, and to distribute reports.
- Proficient with the use of word processing.
- Firm communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid organization, time‑management, critical‑thinking, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to solve difficult problems within existing guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- May regularly be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work in a variety of conditions including remote work, a climate‑controlled office environment, and a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. Personal protective equipment required in the manufacturing environment.
- Remote workers must have a dedicated workspace with adequate internet service (minimum 20 mbps download and 5 mbps upload).
- Noisy environments may exceed 85 dBA and require hearing protection.
- Minimal regional travel may be required.
