Administrative & Communications Specialist About the Opportunity JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative and Communications Specialist provides communication, project coordination, program, and administrative support to the Talent Management team in University HR.
This position is a fixed-term role with a one-year appointment.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule, combining both on-campusand remote work.
- Strong organization and communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be able to multi-task, exercise professionalism and good judgement, and work both as a team and independently to manage,prioritize and deliver on various responsibilities and tasks in a timily and effective manner
- Strong attention to detail
- 3-4 years of related administrative experience
- Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
ACCOUNTABILITIES Administrative Support
- Schedules large meetings and coordinates logistics
- Creates and updates organizational charts
- Compiles, organizes, cross-references, and formats reports
- Takes notes at team meetings and summarizes updates for theteam
- Organizes and files job descriptions
- Organizes and maintains Teams and SharePoint sites and file systems
- Event/program scheduling and logistics
- Edits and proofreads communications, presentations, and other materials
- Designs PowerPoint decks and resources
- Reviews communications with different audiences in mind;tailors communications for different audience needs
- Audits Teams sites and HR Service Center content monthly toconfirm information is current
- Maintains attendance records for multiple learning programs
- Organizes nominee lists and sends invitations to learning programs as requested
- Sends participant surveys, compiles results, and tracks common themes
- Tracks team projects and initiatives to keep them onschedule
- Follows up on action items between meetings so work continues to move forward

Expected Hiring Range:$53,615.00 - $75,728.75
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will dependon several factors, which may include your education, experience,location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
