The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our Quality, Outcome Research, & Analytics (QORA) department!
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded opportunity. Current funding will expire April 1, 2027 with the possibility of extension.
This position can be home-based.

** Responsibilities*
* The Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of health sciences research and measure development initiatives through project coordination, administrative support, stakeholder engagement, and program operations. Working closely with internal staff, subject matter experts, researchers, and external partners, this role coordinates meetings and activities, maintains project documentation and databases, supports reporting efforts, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations.
+ Support day-to-day operations of initiatives, including scheduling internal, external, and cross-functional meetings, managing agendas, capturing notes and action items, tracking follow-up activities, coordinating materials, and maintaining project documentation.
+ Develop, input, and maintain information in project tracking systems, databases, SharePoint sites, and other software platforms.
+ Handle administrative and financial tasks, including processing invoices, tracking budgets and expenses, and supporting contract and grant administration activities.
+ Support virtual meeting logistics and technology setup.
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for project participants, subject matter experts, and external partners, coordinating communications, responding to inquiries, and assisting with onboarding activities.
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting summaries, dashboards, stakeholder updates, and other materials aligned with project goals and timelines.
+ Assist with the development and dissemination of program materials, templates, reports, and resources.
+ Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and meeting schedules to support successful execution of research and measure development activities.
** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience that includes administrative and/or project coordination experience.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet specified timelines.
+ Administrative expertise with sophisticated clerical responsibilities and data management.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop collaborative working relationships internally and externally.
+ Experience coordinating meetings, events, or project activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
** Here are some of the preferred experience and skills we are seeking:*
* + Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, healthcare administration, research, or a related field.
+ Experience supporting health sciences, research, quality improvement, measurement, or healthcare-related projects.
+ Experience working with subject matter experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, or external partners.
+ Knowledge of basic data tracking, reporting, or research support processes.
** Proficiency Requirement*
* + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience working with project management, database, or collaboration systems is a plus.
** Compensation & Benefits*
* The expected pay range will be $20.51 per hour to $25.64 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
