Position SummaryThe Support Services Assistant provides administrative and operational support for sponsorship services and sponsor relations. This role is responsible for assisting with sponsor communications, sponsorship processing, CRM data management, progress report coordination, payment and account follow-up, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring responsive and professional service to sponsors and partners.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication and administrative skills. Fluency in both English and Farsi are required.

Position Type:Remote/Hybrid*, Full-Time
Candidates must reside in the Portland metropolitan area. This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office attendance required as needed.
Salary Range & Benefits:- $38,000–$40,000 annually

- Serve as a primary point of contact for sponsors, responding to inquiries via phone and email and coordinating sponsor support activities, including audio/video calls and sponsorship-related requests.
- Process and maintain sponsorship records, including new sponsorship applications, sponsorship cancellations, account updates, replacement assignments, and accurate documentation within the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate sponsor and child records in the CRM system, including updating account information, sponsorship statuses, child profiles, and tracking available children awaiting sponsorship.
- Coordinate with partner offices regarding sponsor inquiries, child updates, progress reports, and other program-related matters; upload and distribute reports to sponsors as needed.
- Support data entry, document management, file organization, recordkeeping, and general administrative operations.
- Assist with event-related administrative coordination and maintain records of operational tasks and follow-up activities.
- Perform other support services and administrative duties as assigned.
- Fluency in English and Farsi (written and verbal).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, nonprofit operations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
