Our successful construction company is seeking an Office Manager to work closely with the owner and help manage the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the business.

The Office Manager will support the administrative, payroll, accounting, and project-related needs of the company. Responsibilities will include:
- Processing and submitting union payroll through Paychex Flex
- Preparing and managing certified payrolls
- Completing and submitting union benefit documentation and payments
- Managing and maintaining HR and employee documentation
- Handling accounts receivable and assisting with basic accounting functions
- Assisting with miscellaneous project management and administrative tasks
- Maintaining organized company records, files, and documentation
- Communicating with employees, union representatives, vendors, customers, and job site personnel as needed
- Visiting job sites periodically to assist with administrative or project-related needs
- Supporting the owner with a variety of day-to-day business and operational responsibilities
The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced but relaxed environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Construction Administrator, Payroll, Accounting, or Administrative Management role preferred
- Experience processing union payroll, including familiarity with Paychex Flex, is highly preferred
- Experience with certified payrolls and union benefit reporting
- Strong organizational and document-management skills
- Experience with accounts receivable
- Comfortable assisting with basic project coordination and administrative tasks
- Ability to work independently while communicating closely with the owner and other team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Notary Public certification is a plus, but not required
