Job DescriptionThe Information Services (IS) Department at Responsive Ed is actively engaged in the most significant technology transformation in our organizational history. We are migrating to a cloud‑centric environment for all student, campus and district operations including a district‑wide adoption of Google’s G Suite and cloud‑based workflows. The Information Services team maintains a servant‑leadership approach to bring the latest innovations to improve the overall technology experience for our students, faculty, and staff.
PositionSummary
A PEIMS Specialist works closely with Campus and Home Office staff in processes related to student enrollment, withdrawal, attendance, special programs, discipline, class enrollment, and all other state‑reporting student activities. The specialist fosters positive relationships with peers within the Department and with Campus/Home Office staff to ensure that PEIMS‑related data is collected, entered, maintained and reported in a coordinated manner. The goal is to align responsibilities and deliverables with the overall mission of the IS PEIMS Team, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
QualificationsEducation/Certification
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- 2+ years in customer support roles.
- 2+ years experience in data entry, record keeping, word processing, and spreadsheet maintenance.
- Auditing experience preferred.
- PEIMS‑reporting experience preferred.
- Be a self‑starter.
- Be well‑organized.
- Proficiency in utilization of spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Audit and approve enrollment and transfer records syncing from the admissions system in the Student Information System.
- Reactivate student enrollment if returned within 30 days of withdrawal.
- Add new enrollment records and delete old records from future school year when the Academic Year rollover happens each spring.
- Search TEAL database for TSDS Enrollment information to verify students based on proof of identity.
- Review documentation for proof of residency, At‑Risk coding, and eligibility determination for Pre‑K enrollment.
- Maintain student records and process requests for student information.
- Verify and update student demographic data in the Student Information System.
- Review and verify Campus attendance data in the Student Information System according to prescribed procedures.
- Analyze and monitor campus enrollment, withdrawal, and attendance procedures.
- Enter, audit, and maintain Special Programs enrollment and withdrawal records.
- Review and provide guidance to Campuses regarding scheduled classes and achievement records.
- Review Campus discipline records maintained in the Student Information System and verify accuracy.
