Screening DateJob Description SummaryThese professional registrar positions are responsible for monitoring and maintaining database applications and processes about one or more of the following areas of specialization within the office of the University Registrar:
Class scheduling, transfer evaluation/articulation, degree clearance, curriculum approval, registration, and academic records.
- Clear and post degrees; create and maintain degree audits.
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods by executing core functions in term development, scheduling, registration, end-of-term processing, course catalog maintenance, and transfer credit articulation.
- Communicate Registrar policies, timelines, and deadlines to academic departments to ensure university-wide compliance and seamless process execution.
- Address non-compliance with institutional policies and verify data accuracy across the Student Information System(SIS) and supplemental applications.
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise business systems (including but not limited to: Workday, Banner, uAchieve, Change of Program,) while advising faculty, administrators, and students across all campuses.
- Resolve or elevate complex operational issues for faculty, staff, department leaders, and students.
- Conduct system testing within the SIS and enterprise platforms to support upgrades, custom enhancements, and production issue resolution.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (by employment start date), or Associate’s degree (by employment start date) plus two years of experience or six years of experience with increasing responsibility.
- Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills congruent with a collaborative management style.
