Job Summary

This position supports One America Financial Claims teams by ensuring timely, accurate administrative support that helps customers feel secure and cared for.

The Claims Admin role is responsible for contributing to the overall success of One America Financial objectives by helping our customers maintain a sense of security and their well-being by effectively providing timely and accurate administrative support to the One America Financial Claims teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Claims Processing Support
    :
    Request, verify, and collect claim documentation via phone or written communication.
  • Workflow Adherence
    :
    Follow established procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Data Entry
    :
    Input claim data across various lines of business (e.g., annuity, disability, life insurance).
  • Customer Service
    :
    Provide consistent, empathetic service across all customer groups.
  • Documentation
    :
    Maintain clear and compliant records of all communications and claim activities.
  • Correspondence
    :
    Communicate with stakeholders (agents, beneficiaries, physicians, etc.) while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Team Collaboration
    :
    Support team goals and participate in projects.
  • Adaptability
    :
    Embrace change, suggest improvements, and support innovation.
Work Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree and/or minimum of 1 year working in a fast-paced office environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance administration terms and process is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with claim processing systems and administrative platforms preferred.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Accurate data entry and document management skills.
  • Empathy and responsiveness in customer interactions
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.
  • High School Diploma required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Salary Band: 01B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.Candidates based in the Portland, ME area may be eligible to work from home, subject to business needs and evolving workplace policies. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.

Consistent with applicable pay transparency laws, we disclose the compensation range for this position: $21.16 - $28.25 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as education, experience, geographical location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual incentive program.
