The Office of Admissions seeks an administrative professional to support the Domestic Field Programs & Recruitment and the Student Relationship Management ( SRM ) teams, as well as the broader Office of Admissions. This position coordinates travel, college fair planning, and shipment of recruitment materials; manages office budget reconciliation, credit card administration, invoicing, and related financial processes; and provides general administrative and operational support, including calendar coordination, scheduling, and document preparation.
The position also serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, parents, high school personnel, and external partners, and delivering excellent customer service consistent with Syracuse University’s mission, both remotely and at in-person events.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum: high school diploma or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office or administrative support setting; academic setting experience preferred.
- Budget management and/or financial/operational experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- An appreciation for Syracuse University’s mission.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), virtual meeting platforms, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to learn budget management, CRM , and other web-based information systems and applications.
- Interest in and ability to work as part of an energetic, collaborative team.

Administers and reconciles University credit card program activity for the team; processes reimbursements, invoices, and program budgets; coordinates with university offices and external vendors on budgetary matters, account management, event logistics, food services, shipping, and travel arrangements. - Administrative and Operational Support
