Administrative Support Specialist
Provide high level administrative support to the Otolaryngology and Surgical Services Nursing Leadership; manage calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and track follow up actions.
Process HR-related administrative tasks, including PARs for new hires, terminations and changes; coordinate onboarding; maintain confidential personnel files; assist with compliance documentation.
Serve as primary administrative resource for approximately 100 employees by managing communications, distributing updates, preparing reports, and coordinating cross-departmental requests.
Manage purchasing, supply orders, vendor coordination and expense tracking; assist with budget documentation and financial reconciliation.
Provide general administrative support including document creation, data entry, scanning, routing forms, maintaining shared drives and email lists, and supporting daily clinic administrative needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years in administrative support
Strong verbal/written communication, organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain confidentiality

Knowledge of Michigan Medicine policies and UMMG/Ambulatory Care processes
