We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office & Operations Assistant to support a private home office and executive operations in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, willing to learn, and able to pivot as priorities, schedules, and objectives change. This is a hands-on role requiring discretion, strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities- Support the daily operation, organization, and readiness of a Georgetown-based home office and executive workspace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and consistently prepared office and work environment.
- Safely transport the executive to meetings, appointments, events, and other destinations as needed.
- Coordinate transportation logistics, including vehicle readiness, routes, parking, timing, and changing schedules.
- Coordinate with home office vendors, technicians, service providers, delivery teams, and contractors; schedule visits and follow through on open items.
- Operate large-format printers and related production equipment, or be willing and able to learn.
- Prepare and organize printed materials, presentations, binders, project documents, and other production needs using Adobe Creative Suite as required.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, packages, shipping, receiving, errands, deliveries, and pickups.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
- Adapt quickly when objectives, schedules, travel plans, or project requirements change.
- Travel as needed to support the executive, projects, meetings, installations, events, and other operational requirements.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Able to multitask, prioritize competing needs, and remain effective under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and confidence transporting an executive safely and professionally.
- Ability and willingness to work in person every workday in Georgetown, Washington, DC.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required, including occasional short-notice travel.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Experience with large-format printing is preferred; willingness and ability to learn is required.
- Comfortable coordinating with vendors, technicians, contractors, and outside service providers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, discretion, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work independently in a private home-office environment while supporting changing executive needs.
