The annual salary for this position ranges from $52,200 to $57,599. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

The Online Admission Specialist provides advanced admissions processing and operational support for UTA Online. The position manages admissions processing activities for online applicants, evaluates applicants against established admission criteria, resolves complex application and documentation issues, supports quality assurance and process improvement, and collaborates with university partners to facilitate accurate and timely progression through the admissions process and achievement of established service expectations.

• Performs advanced admissions processing for an assigned portfolio of online applicants, including reviewing applications and supporting documentation, verifying completeness and accuracy of records, evaluating applicants against faculty-approved quick-admit criteria, and processing admissions-related documents and transactions.
• Processes applicants who meet established quick-admit standards and routes applicants who do not meet those standards for further review.
• Independently manages assigned queues and prioritizes work to support Final date to receive applicationss, service expectations, and enrollment goals.
• Serves as a primary subject matter resource for UTA Online admissions processing.
• Researches and resolves complex application, record, and documentation issues; provides processing guidance to Online Enrollment Advisors and other stakeholders; coordinates with appropriate university offices; and escalates policy exceptions or complex cases as needed.
• Conducts quality assurance reviews and monitors online admissions processing workflows to identify aging applications, outstanding requirements, processing delays, recurring errors, and workflow barriers.
• Monitors performance against established processing service levels and takes appropriate action to resolve or elevate applications at risk of exceeding turnaround expectations.
• Communicates trends and recommends actions to improve processing accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Provides training, onboarding support, and procedural guidance to Online Enrollment Advisors and other designated staff regarding admissions processing requirements, systems, documentation standards, and workflows.
• Serves as an ongoing resource regarding processing practices and procedural updates.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures, job aids, training resources, and workflow documentation for online admissions processing.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and supports testing and implementation of system, workflow, and procedural changes affecting online enrollment operations.
• Collaborates with Admissions, Enrollment Management, academic programs, and other university partners to resolve applicant processing issues, coordinating admissions activities, and supporting timely progression of online applicants through the enrollment process.
• Coordinates with Online Enrollment Advisors to ensure admission decisions, outstanding requirements, and applicant status changes are communicated accurately and promptly.
• Participates in departmental projects and initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education admissions, enrollment services, student records, or a related high-volume processing environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
