Position OverviewA Japanese food import company in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily office and import-related administrative operations.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity ideal for someone looking for approximately 3–4 hours per day or a few full days per week
.
- Provide general administrative and office support
- Prepare invoices and other documents based on customer orders
- Organize and maintain import and customs-related documentation
- Assist with paperwork related to Japanese Wagyu beef imports
- Enter and update information using Excel
- Maintain files, records, and other business documents
- Communicate with internal staff and business partners as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Japanese-English bilingual skills
- Basic English communication skills; strong written English is preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable handling invoices and business documentation
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Flexible scheduling is available. Examples include:
- Approximately 3–4 hours per day, 4 days per week
, or - Approximately 8 hours per day, 3 days per week
- Other part-time arrangements may also be considered
The position is primarily on-site in Midtown Manhattan. Occasional remote work (approximately once per week) may be considered depending on the schedule and business needs.
