Position Overview:

Just Right Reader is a forward-thinking curriculum provider committed to advancing literacy for students from Birth through 12th Grade. Our comprehensive resources are designed to support all learners, including upper-grade students requiring additional intervention to develop foundational skills. Grounded in the Science of Reading, our high-quality materials and tools equip educators with the support they need to accelerate achievement and foster lifelong readers.

We're supporting our CTO in finding a seasoned, resourceful, and highly self-directed Executive Assistant. This is a full-time remote role for someone who thrives on quietly keeping things in motion - behind the scenes - so the CTOcan focus on leading our technical teams and building out our automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Think of this as being the wizard behind the curtain: you'll manage the administrative world for our CTO with a high degree of autonomy. You'll coordinate closely with other Executive Assistants at JRR to handle business-facing priorities, but your main focus will be on removing things from the CTO's plate.
  • This means: serving as a gatekeeper and point of contact for a wide range of people - from cross-functional teams to outside vendors; handling logistics, owning the CTO's schedule, managing the CTO's inbox, prepping the CTO for upcoming meetings, understanding how to lean in as a true partner, etc.
Responsibilities:
  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CTO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, screening and directing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Documentation: Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, andother documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meeting Management: Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with various projects and initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Executive Liaison: Act as a liaison between the CTO and other members of the leadership team, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Prioritization: Manage competing priorities effectively, proactively identifying and addressing potential conflicts or obstacles.
  • Remote Operations: Embrace and utilize remote work tools and technologies to optimize productivity and collaboration within a fully remote work environment.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide additional administrative support and perform other duties as assigned by the CTO.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workwith minimal errors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with tact, integrity, and discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a remote work environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in and support colleagues as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges.
Why Join Us:
