Job Summary

Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.

• Carry out assigned job functions and support club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Assist members in the selection and purchase of tires, verifying sizes and ensuring proper installation (mounting, dismounting, rotating, balancing).
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks per club policy.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office for member tire needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory and use special‑order tire programs as required.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Complete all tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
• Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Prior tire installation experience preferred.
• Must pass Michelin training levels 1‑4 within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

• Exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
• Mostly standing and moving on hard surfaces with frequent bending, climbing, crouching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and ladder usage.
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting heavier items with assistance.
• Work performed near moving cars, machinery, and loud equipment; may require shouting to be heard.
• Possible exposure to company‑approved chemicals, cleaning agents, and strong odors.

The pay range for this position starts at $17.50 per hour; actual salaries vary by location, education, experience, and qualifications.
