Automotive Service Advisor

As an Advisor 1, Car Care Customer Service & Sales for AAA, you will be the driving force behind our customers' exceptional experience, seamlessly coordinating their vehicle service needs with our skilled technicians in‑shop.

13732 Hull Street, Midlothian, VA 23112.

• Base hourly rate of $21.50.
• Pay adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job‑related factors as permitted by law.
• Eligible for uncapped monthly performance bonus, various spiffs, and contests.

• Greet customers, answer telephone calls, and schedule appointments promptly and courteously.
• Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of the services performed.
• Contact customers if there is a deviation from the original estimate of cost or time.
• Note the name and time of approval for all repair/service orders and any additional costs.
• Distribute work to all shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job.
• Supply information on request to technicians as needed.
• Arrange for repairs and payment for vehicles covered by extended warranty programs.
• Arrange towing and/or alternate transportation such as shuttle or rental vehicle when necessary in accordance with Total Repair Care (TRC) standards.
• Monitor inspection dates of vehicles in system to ensure inspections are completed before due dates.
• Notify customers of the need to have vehicle serviced per manufacturer's recommended intervals and as required by the state.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred, or three years of relevant experience in a fast‑paced environment with a proven sales and customer satisfaction record.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and the ability to communicate that information to the support team, customers, and auto technicians.
• ADE (Automotive Service Excellence) Service Advisor Certification is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required pre‑employment screenings (background check and drug screening) if offered the position.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
