Tire Sales & Installation TM FullTime

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. Team members carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance, and uphold a safe, positive and inclusive environment for members and coworkers.

• Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Dispose of tires properly and ensure propane tanks are filled per club policy.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk, including verifying tire sizes and using special-order tire programs.
• Complete all tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory and follow safety and cleanliness standards while using tire bay equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed, and maintain attendance.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Prior tire installation experience preferred.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions; standing, moving, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 pounds or more with assistance are common. Work may involve loud machinery, moving cars, and exposure to cleaning agents and strong smells.

Compensation range starts at $17.50 per hour. Pay ranges vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
