Job Summary

CRH Americas Materials (AMAT) is searching for a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to support and drive national and regional sales strategies. The Sales Development Manager will partner with local businesses and their leadership teams to help create, manage, and execute business plans that deliver increased sales opportunities and align with big-picture sales goals. As the Sales Development Manager, you will remain actively engaged and serve as the liaison for local and national sales initiatives.

Your role focuses on three key areas:
Customer Service, Training, and Sales Strategies. Your key contributions include:

Job Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Respond to all types of requests in a timely manner. Diagnose or troubleshoot problems for quick resolution
  • Generate and customize detailed Program reports for commercial sales teams, as required
  • Recommend feasible strategies and tactics to significantly improve business performance
  • Work with sales team to identify market needs and opportunities

Training

  • Deliver training on sales best practices to large and small audiences
  • Coordinates with central sales operation on the design and rollout of Business Intelligence tools, Customer Relationship Management reporting and tracking, and campaign analytics
  • Lead sustainability efforts for sales methodology, processes, and tools that support the selling process and improvement of Customer Experience
  • Support national and regional strategic initiatives by developing and executing actionable plans through training and business analytics
  • Support the development and delivery of key performance metrics to leadership
  • Analyzing geographic sales territories and identifying revenue growth potential
  • Utilizing and implementing comprehensive pipeline reports to track opportunities
  • Administering, managing, analyzing, and reporting sales forecasting
Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong familiarity with commercial sale structure in the building materials industry
  • Experience with Tableau and
  • Ability to proficiently analyze complex data resulting in actionable deliverables
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Effective presentation skills. Clearly communicates, written and verbal. Ability to adapt message to fit the audience
  • Building and maintaining customer (internal & external) relationships
  • 50% travel nationally
Compensation
  • Base of $90,000 - $110,000 plus bonus
Location
  • This position can be remote and be located in various states within the US.
