Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven National Business Development Representative to join our growing team for a full‑time position. In this role, you will drive business development by partnering with schools and districts across the United States to expand Apollo After School's extended‑day program. The position is remote with significant travel required to build relationships and establish partnerships with school administrators and decision‑makers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and prospect potential school and district partners nationwide through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Conduct virtual and in‑person presentations, demos, and meetings to showcase the value of Apollo After School programs and explore partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school principals, district administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute customized partnership strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual growth targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., program directors and marketing) to create tailored proposals and support onboarding of new school and district partners.
- Track partnership activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM tools like Hub Spot.
- Stay informed on educational trends, after school program regulations, and competitive landscape to position Apollo as the top partnership choice.
- Represent Apollo After School at industry conferences, education fairs, and regional events.
- 7+ years of business development experience specifically in educational programs, after‑school services, or K‑12 enrichment activities – experience partnering with schools or districts is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage a national territory, including extensive travel (up to 50%).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex educational benefits to diverse audiences.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically.
- Deep knowledge of after‑school program funding, Title I compliance, or child development best practices.
- Competitive base salary ($60,000 – $100,000) plus commission structure.
