Principal, Business Development will be a driving force behind the commercial success of the Remote Embedded business.

• Exceptional communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills
  , able to build rapport with senior (VP / Director) GTM leaders; speaks the language of senior sales leaders
• Able to think and act for long-term partnerships while driving immediate priorities
• Able to address partner questions across topics (Product, Engineering, GTM, operations, legal, risk, compliance)
• Earns trust through attention to detail and meticulous follow up
• Exceptional commercial acumen and ability to define and close new deals outside prescribed playbooks
• Strong internal track record, proven ability to influence and align internal senior leaders
• Naturally builds excitement across midmarket-to-enterprise commercial organizations
• Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with diverse stakeholder groups
• Able and willing to travel to partner events (e.g. SKO), roadshows, etc.
• Superior verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to work across internal and external organizations
• Passion for remote work and a global outlook strongly preferred

• Recruit technology partners to implement and resell Remote to their customer base via the Remote Embedded solution
• Generate awareness and demand at C-level stakeholders in target prospects, engaging the right stakeholders at the right time
• Develop and execute prioritized business development tactics for must-win accounts; build relationships at all levels of seniority
• Build compelling business cases and implementation roadmaps; address objections and build prospect confidence
• Own deal execution, including qualification, product assessment, structuring and negotiation
• Negotiate deal terms ensuring sustainable economics and aligned incentives
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop customer-facing collaterals and targeted outreach
• Coordinate involvement of Remote executives and internal stakeholders as appropriate
• Collect and communicate actionable feedback to Product, Engineering and other teams

Remote Compensation Philosophy Remote’s total rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits in all locations. We pay above in-location rates and aim to inspire other companies to support global talent-hiring.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $71,750 to $201,800. Salary ranges are determined by role, level and location; the actual base pay depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, training, business needs and market demands.

At Remote, internal mobility is a key element of growth, with compensation changes for internal moves reviewed case by case.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $71,750 — $201,800 USD.
